Since he was eighteen, Sondre Lerche has been one of the country's most versatile artists. Lerche has since toured extensively throughout the world and especially the USA, where he lived from 2005 to 2020. He has appeared on David Letterman's Late Night show twice, and in addition to 10 studio albums and countless EPs, has composed film music for the American blockbuster Dan In Real Life, as well as the Sundance indie film The Sleepwalker. With his tenth record, the double album "Avatars Of Love", in 2022 Lerche reached a new artistic and career peak and the album was described by critics as one of the best Norwegian albums of all time. Now he performs at the festival with his telepathically coordinated quartet.
