VOLUNTEER STAFF AT NATTJAZZ
Nattjazz has over 200 volunteer staff members each year during the festival, which lasts for 9 days in 2025. They are an amazing group of people who make Nattjazz the best jazz festival in the country. This year, as usual, the festival runs from Friday, May 23rd to Saturday, May 31st, but we also need staff before and after the festival. As a Jazzworker for Nattjazz, you'll get a free pass to the entire festival + a couple of extra perks (!). Additionally, we have our own volunteer café/bar (open on selected days), and there are special parties arranged for jazz workers that are worth attending!
LilleBØ
As a volunteer, you'll also get free access to one of the days of LilleBØ – the Bergen Beer Festival’s exclusive event at Hallen USF on the last two days of Nattjazz (Note: 18 years old age limit).

As a volunteer staff member at Nattjazz, you are part of the festival's hosting team. Our most important task is to ensure that our guests—audience, musicians, and press—have a great experience while at Nattjazz. All staff members belong to different groups with their specific tasks. More details and training will be provided before your shift. As a volunteer staff member, you will always work under a responsible supervisor, and you will be well taken care of throughout your shift. Everyone receives food and drinks while on duty.

Everyone must register again, even if they were registered last year/previously (except for group leaders, etc.) - this ensures that we have the correct information :)
